Osaka Mary Jane

Great shoe!

These days, I rely on Mary Janes (when I can find them in a wide), as they accommodate a foot wide at the toe and narrow at the heel without pinching, exacerbating Morton's Neuroma, or slipping off. But few Mary Janes are suitable for dressy occasions. The Osaka shoes are attractive enough to wear to work or even with any but the most formal dress; they will also work with casual outfits. The toe is not rounded; it's shaped in the classic way. Yet thee shoes are the best fitting Mary Janes I've ever bought, The insole seems sturdy enough to stabilize my heel yet cushy enough to make walking very comfortable. I hesitated to buy them because they only come in whole sizes, and I've considered myself a 7.5 W. I bought an 8W. Perhaps that is actually the correct size for me (my right foot is slightly bigger than my left, and my feet seem to be spreading as I age). If you're uncertain, I'd say, give them a try!
