Mom Style
My style has evolved a lot over the past three years. When I just had Hudson, I worked full time out of the home and was pretty stylish (if I do say so myself). But after having Sadie I quit my job to stay home with my kids….and then when Sadie had just turned 1 we found out Belle was on the way.
It’s been a crazy and busy past few years for me personally, that’s for sure. And now that I am home with three kids most of the time, I basically live in yoga pants. They are the unofficial wardrobe of the stay at home mom. And for a good reason…they are comfy! But lately I’ve been trying to put forth more of an effort to discover my new “mom style”…..minus the yoga pants.
I like to be able to go out with my kids and feel cute, put together, yet functional. I need to be able to bend down without anything falling out and I need to be able to move freely. Now that the weather has finally warmed up it has been SO much easier to find cute, comfortable, and stylish pieces to add to my wardrobe.
Most days you’ll find me in a v-neck tee or some kind of stripes. Stripes and dots have, and always will be, my favorites. I consider them neutrals, ha! I’ve been living in jeggings, or pull-on shorts. No buttons for this gal. Pretty much just like my three year old. Thank goodness these styles are socially acceptable and cute!
I recently discovered some new cute (and busy mom approved!) shoes by revere. What I love about revere is that they are a footwear company with the mission of combining incredible comfort and support with stylish, beautifully-crafted shoes. For me it is essential that my shoes be comfortable. You never know when I might need to chase after a crazy toddler at a moment’s notice.
Or get down on the ground to do some chalk art.
Not only are the revere’s sandals comfortable, they also are adjustable at all points, ensuring the perfect fit. I love how they add a little extra touch to my wardrobe and will be a favorite all summer long.
All of revere’s shoes are made with hand-sourced, premium leathers and are designed for all-day wear. Perfect for a busy mom like me. You can view the entire collection of women’s plantar fasciitis sandals here.
